The ever so creative Deanna over at Wedding Dress Blue has done it again! First she shared Fading Charms, then A Hundred Hugs. She has outdone herself this time!
Check out Film at Five, complete with a tutorial. Yep, totally a Postage Stamp Quilt, in the colors Deanna seems to love. This is a real gem. And well named as well—at least for those of us who remember what actual FILM looks like in this digital age.
Film at Five from Deanna at Wedding Dress Blue.
Actually, Deanna has lots of great tutorials. Be sure to leave her a comment when you visit. Check out her other great postage stamp quilts too. Many thanks, Deanna, for sharing your creativity with us all.
If you watch the calendar, you will notice that we are almost into October! Here in Minnesota, the 96 degree heat dropped to a couple of near-freezing nights in 24 hours, which got the colors changing on the trees really fast, and early. Between that and the continuing drought, things are a bit more muted than some years. Still, the glow of fall is in the air, and we are glad that the temperatures have moderated.
Of course, that means the fourth Postage Stamp Charm Swap is just around the corner too! Keep watching for more.

Really lovely, so clean and fresh looking.
It looks more interesting than it is: hung over the grape vines on the back fence on a slightly windy day.

What a great way to arrange the little treasures! And all the other beautiful ideas she has.
I am just about to start my first PSQ, random spread – or so I thought. With all these lovely patterns I might change my mind …
