The winner of the August 2010 drawing for a set of homespun fabrics and the book Garden Club Quilts is…
Donna is the lucky comment writer/twitterer! The entire list of comments and tweets was printed off blog records, sliced into individual slips, and folded up small. The resulting 50 entries were popped in an empty shoe box and the winning name was drawn by a neighbor who was out walking her dog.
I want to thank everyone who participated in this giveaway drawing, and who supports my blog! Keep watching my blog for the next contest, coming soon. I hope you will continue to read, watching for even more stash antics, cotton chronicles, silly lyrics, as well as quilting trials, triumphs, tribulations, and obsessions.
It is so much fun to read your comments and hear about your experiences. Tell me the things you are curious about, be they fabric, pattern, technique, tool, recycling, or quilt heritage. We can learn more about them together.
Thank you ALL for participating, and Happy Quilting to all! – Mary
Donna, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your mailing address so I can slip this lovely parcel in the mail!
Update on the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative: Marge at Delaware Quilts has posted photos of the mini-quilts she received in time for entry in her own drawing. You can vote for your favorite at http://delawarequilts.com/AAQI/index.html, the lucky quilter who wins will get a gift certificate to Delaware Quilts. I have three mini quilts entered, and am not saying which, but hope lots of you vote. Remember when looking, these are 9×12 inches or smaller! Fun to see.
Quilts are still being accepted for the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative, and you can learn more about this fun project while voting. Thanks to Marge for organizing this!
